We only collect the information we need to coach you, book your sessions, and keep the website running. We never sell your data. You’re the boss of your own personal information—tell us to show it, fix it, or delete it and we will.

This policy applies to www.lineofsight.co.za (the “Site”), to bookings made through our online forms, and to any direct email, phone or WhatsApp interactions with us.
Because many visitors come from outside South Africa, the policy is written to meet:
POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, South Africa); and
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (e.g., health records) unless you choose to share it during coaching; when you do, we handle it with extra care and confidentiality.

We never sell your data. We share it only with:
Service providers – secure web-hosting, email host, calendar/booking tool, and cloud backups, all bound by POPIA-compatible operator / GDPR Article 28 clauses.
Authorities – if required by law or to protect rights, safety or property.
Successors – if the practice is restructured or transferred, subject to the same protections.
Some suppliers (e.g., cloud hosting or analytics) operate outside South Africa / the EEA. Where data leaves SA we rely on POPIA s 72 mechanisms (contractual clauses & security safeguards). For EEA visitors we apply GDPR Chapter V tools (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or vendor participation in an adequacy framework). Details are available on request.
We retain:
Coaching and billing records – 7 years (statutory financial record period).
Marketing consents – until you unsubscribe + 3 years for audit.
Analytics data – 26 months (Google Analytics’ default) or less, then aggregated.
When retention ends, we securely delete or anonymise the data.
The Site uses four cookie types:
Strictly necessary – WordPress session & security cookies.
Analytics – to see which pages are popular (e.g., Google Analytics).
Performance – load-balancing & caching (e.g., CDN cookies).
Marketing – only if you opt in (e.g., Facebook/Meta Pixel).
Non-essential cookies are set only after you click “Accept” on the banner. You can revoke consent anytime via the banner’s “Manage settings” link or your browser’s cookie controls.
We send email updates only if:
you have booked a session with us (existing-client soft opt-in under POPIA s 69(3)); or
you expressly subscribed via the Site.
Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link or reply-to-opt-out instruction.

To exercise any right, email nicole@lineofsight.co.za with enough information to verify your identity. We will respond within one calendar month.
We employ SSL/TLS encryption, strong access controls, regular backups, and vendor due-diligence reviews. If a data breach “that may compromise your rights” occurs, we will notify you and the regulators as required by POPIA s 22 and GDPR Arts 33–34.
Our coaching services are aimed at adults. Where we work with minors, we obtain verifiable parental consent in line with POPIA s 35 and GDPR Art 8.
We may update this notice to reflect legal or operational changes. The “Last updated” date will change and, where material, we will post a banner or email you.
